Thank you for joining us for a screening at the Remarkable Theater Drive-In. The following is our Remarkable Playbook. This information is meant to help you have a memorable, fun and safe movie-going experience.
The Remarkable Theater Drive-In believes that when people come together something remarkable happens. Everything below is to help create a special moviegoing experience for you, your family, your friends, and the rest of our community attending the movie. Thank You for taking the time to read the following:
TICKET
Please PRINT YOUR TICKET and bring it with you to the movie. A Remarkable staff member will check you in when you show your ticket.
ADDRESS
THE REMARKABLE THEATER – 50 IMPERIAL AVENUE, WESTPORT, CT 06880
The Drive-In is located at 50 IMPERIAL AVENUE in downtown Westport, CT. This is on the Saugatuck River near the Levitt Pavilion. You will see a Remarkable Volunteer and a police car near the entrance.
HOURS
Please check your ticket, our homepage, or social media for when we open doors and the movie start times. This will change throughout our season with the sunset.
GPS
If you use GPS, just put in “50 Imperial Avenue Westport CT”, or “Remarkable Theater” on Google Maps, and you will be led to the theater.
SOUND/CAR RADIO
When you enter, please turn your radio to 90.9FM. This is where you will be able to access sound for the film and the pre-show.
PORTABLE TRANSISTOR RADIO
If you do not want to use your car radio, please bring a portable radio that can access 90.9FM. This is especially helpful if you are sitting outside your car.
TEST YOUR RADIO
Please test to make sure you know how to turn on your radio without having the car ignition on. This prevents exhaust from spreading, your inside lights from being on and your headlights shining onto the screen or at the cars in front of you.
MASKS
Masks are not mandatory at the lot. If you feel comfortable wearing a mask we encourage you to.
RESTROOMS
If you need to use the restrooms at the Theater, they are located in the back of the theater lot.
PARKING – YOUR SEATS
Cars are parked every other space — our Remarkable staff will help guide parking so no large cars, pickup trucks, or SUVs block other audience members from seeing this screen.
PARKING NEXT TO FRIENDS – CARS PARKING TOGETHER
If you are hoping to park two or more cars next to each other PLEASE COME EARLY.
HATCHBACKS
If you plan on attending the Drive-In and sit in the hatchback of your vehicle or are planning to keep the hatchback open during the movie, please try and keep your hatchback door below the roofline of your vehicle or park on the sides of the theater so as not to obstruct other audience members.
If you are parked in a space that does obstruct others or the projection of the film, please be prepared that our staff might ask you to move to another spot.
HEADLIGHTS and INTERIOR LIGHTS
Please keep your headlights and interior car lights off during the screening of the film.
A LITTLE PATIENCE
Please be patient as our Remarkable staff helps you, from the check-in, to parking, to answering any questions.
Please be patient with your neighboring audience members. Everyone is trying the best they can.
CONCESSION
There is currently no food sold at The Remarkable Theater. Please bring your own popcorn, candy and beverages. If you are bringing dinner, please support the many remarkable restaurants and establishments in Westport.
Inclement weather policy
If there is a very light rain, the movie will still be shown. (You’ll be snug and dry in your car.) If there is a heavy rain or a storm, we’ll likely cancel that night’s screening, making an announcement by 10AM that day. If we do cancel, we’ll reschedule the movie for an alternate date.
If you have purchased a ticket to canceled screening you can either (1) use that same ticket for the rescheduled date, (2) exchange your ticket for a ticket to any other screening that season or (3) receive a full refund.

EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
If you have purchased a ticket and find yourself unable to make that movie, please contact us at remarkabletheater@gmail.com. We will cheerfully exchange your ticket for another available show, provide you with a Rain Check good for the rest of the season, or issue you a refund. If we do make a refund, we will be unable to return the Handling Fee associated with that ticket.
